Energy Efficient Communities (EEC) Program - Food and Beverage Manufacturing Business Grants


The grant provides small/medium businesses up to $25,000 to improve energy efficiency practices and technologies and better manage energy consumption to reduce their power bills. The application process can take time and effort. Understanding the entire process will help you be grant ready and may improve your chances of getting funding.

 

At a Glance

  1. The grant is targeted at small and medium food and beverage manufacturing businesses.

  2. The objective of the grant opportunity is to support small and medium sized food and beverage manufacturing enterprises to save energy by:

    • replacing existing equipment with more energy efficient equipment

    • installing or replacing components to help existing systems run more efficiently

    • carrying out energy audits

    • monitoring and optimising energy use and emissions

    • increasing knowledge of energy efficiency practices, and

    • positioning small and medium sized enterprises to adopt future technological advancement in energy consumption.

 

Eligibility

You can apply if you meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are a set of rules that describe who we can consider for this grant. You can apply if you:

  • are an eligible entity

  • have an eligible project

  • have eligible expenditure.

How to Apply

When the online form is available, you must submit your application through the online portal. You’ll need to set up an account when you first log into the portal. The portal allows you to apply for and manage a grant or service in a secure online environment.
